I went ahead and mailed the letters via certified mail but did not do return receipt. I have made a copy of all the certified mail green copy which has the stamp from Post office and I was gonna attach that with the affidavit to show as a proof that we did mail them. The affidavit will also have a list attached of all the people we sent the notice to. Some of them were duplicate in there (i.e. one person was shown as a owner of two parcels that were next to each other). Will the copies of certified mail receipt be sufficient to show as a proof? Thanks, Nila. ----- Original Message ---- From: "Conn, Angelina V" <Aconn@camlel.in.gov> To: PATEL NILA <nilul1itu@yahoo.com> Sent: Sunday, August 5, 2007 2:27:40 PM Subject: RE: August 15 TAC Agenda Nila: you can write their names and addresses in, if you choose the route of sending the adjacent proeprty owners a certified mailing of the notice of public hearing. this is also where they would sign the green cards and they are mailed back to you. this would be the proof the Dept needs that you send public notice. OR - you can go door to door and have each property owner sign the affidavit of the notice of public hearing after handing them a notice of the public hearing. i hope this makes sense.... thanks, angle From: PATEL NlLA [mailto:niluhitu@yahoo.comJ Sent: Fri 8/3/2007 2:19 PM To: Conn, Angelina V 8/20/2007 City of Carmel August 7,2007 Mukkaish Patall 14851 RedcliffDr. Noblesville, IN 46062 RE: Patel Estates Dear Mr. Patai!: The following letter represents comments for this project specifically addressing the area of alternative transportation.
