Docket No, 07070060 DP/ADLS: Old Meridian Shoppes at Providence, Phase 2 The applicant seeks site plan and design approval for 1 mixed-use building on 2.5 acres. The site is located at the northeast corner of Old Meridian St. and Carmel Dr and is zoned OM-V/Old Meridian Village. Filed by Buckingham Co. The petitioner seeks site plan and design approval for a 45,600 square foot mixed use building with residential apartment Ilats on the 2nd and 3rd tloors and comrnercialuses on the IS1 floor. Signage will match the Providence at Old Meridian PUD's and the Old Meridian Village District. The buildlllg will complement the current character of the Old Meridian Street District. The petitioner has sought and received two variance approvals from the BZA hearing officer on July 23, for altering the footprint of the bui Iding in the Old Meridian District and for a curb cut that varies from the Old Meridian Street Plan. DOCS comments/concerns: I. The City Forester has tentatively approved the landscape plan. 2. The Engineering Dept relayed the following: The plans are still being reviewed, but if the item is approved this evening the Engineering Dept would like a condition that the petitioner will continue to work with the Engineering Dcpt on gaining approval of the final construction plans. 3. Provide the status of the Hami Iton County Surveyor's approval of the drainage and the Fertig Watershed. 4. All DOCS outstanding issues have been resolved. If comfortable, the Commission can ,'ote to suspend the mil'S and vote on this item tonight. Or, the Plan Commission can forward this item to the October 2 Special Studies Committee meeting for further review.
