IN 46250 VIA FACSIMILE: 841-4798 RE: Carmel Water Operation Facility Dear Mr. Zboyovsky: We have reviewed the construction plans submitted to the Hamilton County Surveyor's Office on November 1, 2005 for this project and have the following comments: 1. The proposed project falls in the incorporated area of the City of Carmel. 2. The proposed project DOES NOT fall in a Carmel Wellhead P,rotection Zone. 3. The proposed project falls in the r.w. Brendel Regulated Drain Watershed. 4. While the majority of the existing storm sewers on this site are regulated drains, the new proposed stonn sewers wUJ not become regulated drain and will be the maintenance responsibility of the City of Carmel. 5. All storm sewer issues will be reviewed by Carmel -Engineering and Crossroad Engineering. The HCSO does have some concerns that is appears the total system flow is higher then the pipe capacity in the drainage calculations. 6. Please provide HeSO will copies of any revisions to the drainage caleulations or construction plans. 7. Please submit an outlet pennit to the J.W. Brendel Regulated Drain. This request will need to be for 2'outlets at Point 1007 and 1009. The application is available on our websiteat htt:D:IIW\VW.c().hami1tonjn.us~go to Departments. Surveyor. and Forms.
