Carmel Center West Office Buildings
The applicant seeks Development Plan and ADLS approval to construct an office center.
The site is located at the southeast comer of West 106lh Street and Commerce Drive. The
site is zoned B-5/Business and is subject to the requirements of the US 421IMichigan
Road Overlay Zone.
Filed by Paul G. Reis of the Reis Law Firm for West l06th Street Properties, LLC.
The applicant is requesting approval of a Development Plal1 and ADLS for the construction of an
office complex at the southeast comer of West 106tl1 Street and Commerce Dlive.
The Public Hearing for this item was on June 181h at which time the Commission sent the item to
the Special Studies Committee for further discussion on July 2nd,
The Special Studies Committee forward the DP/ ADLS back to the Full Plan Commission with a
favorable recommendation based on amended signage infonnation including a revised ground
sign elevation and building base landscaping.
The Department recommends that the Plan Commission approve the DP/ADLS application
as amended and forwarded by the Special Studies Committee.
Additional Note: Written findings are required for action on thc DP/ADLS.
