The proposed remodeling will completely change the exterior appearance of the existing bookstore building through the use of a variety of high quality construction materials. A three (3)-1ane drive- up with canopy will be added to the building's west side, along with an exterior drive-up ATM and after-hours depository (AHD). The building itself will not be enlarged. V' Aside from the drive-up lanes, site modifications will include enhanced landscaping and lighting. The existing parking lot layout that lies along 116th Street and Range Line Rood will not be changed. The dedication of requested right of way' necessitates developmental standards variance from buffer yard and set back requirements. These, along with sign variances will be requested of the Board of Zoning Appeals. Included in this submission are photographs of the existing building, the existing shopping center that occurs immediately to the west and the full complement of drawings and rei1derings that depict our intentions. The low profile rounded form generates wind loading requirements of only 1.2 EPA in a 1 -way configuration. LENS ASSEMBLY: A single-piece die cast aluminum lens frame hinges down from the housing and is secured by a stainless steel lanyard and hinge pin. An optically clear, heal and impact resistant tempered flat or sag glass lens is mechanically secured with eight (8) retainers. The electrical and optical chambers are thoroughly sealed with a one-piece memory retentive hollow core EPDM gasket to prevent intrusion by moisture, dust, and insects. DIMENSIONS OPTICAL SYSTEMS: The segmented optical systems are manufactured from homogenous sheet aluminum which has been electrochemically brightened, anodized and sealed. The multifaceted arc image duplicating systems are designed to produce IES Types I (1),2 (2XL), 3 (3XL), 4 (4XL), and 5 (Q). With the 2XL, 3XL and 4Xlluminaries, the reflector facets form a conical Ian around the arc tube with each facet positioned to be precisely tangent to the top of the arc tube. The mogul based lampholder is glazed porcelain with a nickel plated screw shell. Position oriented sockets to accept super metal halide lamps are supplied standard. & MOUNTING All units feature lamp stabilizers except 150 HPS. ELECTRICAL: All electrical components are Ul recognized, factory lested, and mounted on a unitized plate with quick electrical disconnects. Each high power factor ballast is the separale component type capable 01 providing reliable lamp starting down to -20(F). FINISH: Luminaires are finished with a fade and abrasiorl resistant, electrostatically applied, the rmally cured TGIC powder coat.
