We are in the process for applying for a permit with the City of Carmel for remodeling the house. This is strictly a benevolent activity on our part to assist a family in our congregation needing modifications to their house to better accommodate children with physical handicaps and the church will not profit financially from this activity in any way. We would respectfully request a reduction of the fees associated with this building permit due to the charitable nature of the work being done for this family. Thank you in advance for your consideration. Sincerely, Joe Rice Administrative Pastor 1 R:td 2606 West 96th Street Indiana poIis,IN 46268 ph: [ 3171 875-0282 fax: [317] 875-0605 web:.vww.yourchurch.com Page 1 of 1 Weddington, Trudy A. I have read the letter explaining the unique nature of the circumstances that surround the request for the reduction in permit fees. I believe this is a circumstance where it is appropriate that we wave the permit and inspection fees. Please make a note of that for the file, and insert this email for the record. Thanks for your help and follow-up on this. Mike From: Weddington, Trudy A.
