The building & Sewer Shall be pvc sewer pipe meeting ASTM spccitcations 3034 SDR 35 of latest revision; or vitrified clay pipe. meeting
ASTM specifications C-700 for extra strength clay pipe of latest revision unless other materials are hereby permitted in writing. The sewer
shall be installed in accordance with ASTM 2321 for pvc pipe and the Gnilbrm Plumbing Code for the State of Indiana. All installations shall be
in strict compliance with pertinent City of Carmel ordinances. Back Water check valves shall be installed in accordance with City Code Section
9-122(x). and sections P3008.I and.2 of the International Residential Code. All building sewers shall be 6" diameter.
All installations shall be "oven trench" insoecied and anoroved by the Carmel Sewer Denartment before anv backlillhtg is done. Non
compliance ntay result in dinging up the sewer installation and/or denial of future sewer permits andior denial of water connections.
No footing or foundation drains or other sources of ground water or storm water shall be permitted to enter the public sewer.
Sewer inspections should be requested at (317) 571-2648 one to four hours in advance.
No inspections or installations will be made on Saturday or Sunday or holidays unless arrangements are made at least 24 hour in advance. All
plumbers or contractors installing sewer (or water) lines shall have a plumber bond posted with the CITY ENG1NErICS OFFICE. If any street
