I am in receipt of the document called "Development Request for Substitutions for Landscaping." Where the original plan called for a dogwood tree to be planted in the northeast of the front of the property, a dogwood has been planted in the northwest portion of the front yard. Where the original plan called for a crabapple tree to be planted in the back of the property near the property, there is now an air conditioning unit in that exact location. The AC unit was placed there by the contractor out of necessity during some changes on the work on the inside of the property. The crabapple tree has now been planted straight back behind the parking area in the yard. Where the original plan caned for hydrangeas and hastes to be planted near the AC unit by the kitchen (i.e. on the cement pad), that AC unit was changed from a east to a west position behind the kitchen. The hydrangeas and hastes, therefore, have been "flip-flopped", like a mirror the other way. The same number (or one more) as called for on the plan have been planted. Where the original plan called for viburnums on the west side of the kitchen (i.e. the alleyway), the landscaper has checked several locations and they are out of season and unavailable. Those have been replaced, therefore, with a combination of the same number of burning bushes and boxwoods. Where the original plan called for 5 lady mantles on the front of the property, they are also out of season and unavailable. They have been replaced with liriopes, specifically, one by the front sidewalk and four by the back sidewalk. Where the original plan called for ferns to be placed on the east side and back of the property, they have all been planted, but moved to a line at the back of the parking area. On Monday, October 1, 2007, Mr. Mindham, Matthew Barrick (the landscaper I have been working with of Barrick Lawnscape), and I all met at the property and we had a copy of the plans. AU of the substitutions that are outlined in this letter were discussed by us that day, and we have not changed anything else from that discussion. Please call me at 317-833-8247, or Matthew Barrick at 317-373-1508 with any questions. Sincerely, G~~ j IJJcur Gayle L. Helart SCANNED
