If there is, you will need to either pay for this permit ahead of time, or bring a check to the submittal meeting. We will need the name of the contractor who will be doing the excavation of the exterior, lateral connection to the utility line. That contractor must hold a current bond xvith the City. Additionally, some of these fees may have to be approved through the Board of Public Works and Safety. This is in Carmel Engineering jurisdiction, so I think Bob Thompson from the County was confused about which project this was (isn't there a Red Robin Burgers going in on Michigan outside Engineering jurisdiction). I talked to the Engineer for the project this morning and am waiting on one more small item before being able to approve the plans. I will update you as soon as this last item is received.
