The Carmel Plan Commission took the following action at its meeting October 16,2007 regarding the Primary
Plat fot- two lots-on fiyc acres located at approximately 2020 West 141 sl Street, Carrnel, Indiana.
APPROVED: Westhaven, lots 1-2, Docket No. 07080M9 PP was approved CONDITIONED UPON
submission of a conceptuarIandscape plan, tree preservation on the northern portion, and
compliance with draft residential architectural guidclihes. (As of Ol103/20OS, the
conceptual plan had been submitted).
Iil order to assiSt the Department's review, please attach a copy ofthis letter when ma.kitig application for permits
regarding the improvements contained within this approval.

We can only write the letter of grant referencing what was approved by the plan commission on that date. However, you
can print offthis email for your records to show that you have fulfilled all of the conditions reference in that letter of grant
and are ready td submit for building permits.

Angie,
I hope all is well with you. Today I received the letter of grant for our Westhaven filing and noticed a minor discrepancy in
the explanation of the conditions. The conceptual landscape plan that was requested will be absent a species list as well.
One of the reasons I gave for not wanting to provide a detailed plan was that I did not want to tell a homeowner at this
level that they had to have a particular type of tree if they did not want it. We should have the plan ready by the end of this
week and I will get it to you as soon as possible, Thank you for the help and have a great week.
