(SFHA), BUILDER TO SHOW ELEVATION OF CERTIFICATE
A portion of this property lies within
the Special Flood Hazard Area (SFHA),
Zone AE, and a portion of the proposed
pool lies within that Zone AE. From
the Flood Insurance Rate Map (FIRM) the
Base Flood Elevation (BFE) appears to
be approximately 848 ft. Therefore, the
Minimum Flood Protection Grade (MFPG)
would have to be 850 ft. The builder
must provide an Elevation Certificate
to show that the MFPG was met.
Safety features (including pool covers) shall comply with Indiana Swimming Pool Codes 675 LAC 10-4-27 "Safety Features.''', Egress
systems that involve steps with three or more risers will require a handrail installed to specifications of the Indiana Pool Code.
NOTE: Ifpool construction requires access to property through a right-of-way, not containing an established driveway, the applicant murtgain
approvals through the City of Carmel Engineering Department (571-1441) or the Hamilton County Highway Department, (773.7770) whichever
may be applicable.

"Zoning Ordinance of Carmel. Indiana- 1980, adopted under the authority of Acts of 1979, Public Law 178, Sec. 1. et. Seq., General Assembly
of the State of Indiana and all Acts amendatory thereto. I further certify that the improvement/swimming pool will not be used or occupied until
