NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Hearing Officer of Board of Zoning Appeals for
the City of Carmel, Indiana will hold a public hearing (the "Public Hearing") on the 22nd day of
October, 2007, at 5:30 o'clock p.m. in the Council Caucus Chambers, Second Floor, City Hall,
One Civic Square, Carmel, Indiana 46032, regarding a request for a sign variance request
pertaining to the real estate identified in Docket No. 07090004V (the "Application") and said
real estate (the "Real Estate") is legally described on Exhibit "A" which is attached hereto.
The Real Estate is zoned B-IIBusiness and it is approximately 1.187 acres in size. The
Real Estate is located west of US 31IMeridian Street, south of 106th Street and east of and
adjacent to The Reserve at Spring Mill residential community.
The proposed Application seeks a sign variance from Section 25.07.02-09 of the Sign
Ordinance to permit wall signs that do not face a public right-of-way.
Copies of the proposed Application are on file for examination at the Department of
Community Services, One Civic Square, Carmel, IN 46032, telephone 317/571-2417.
All interested persons desiring to present their views on the above-proposed Application,
either in writing or verbally, will be given an opportunity to be heard at the above-mentioned
time and place.
Written objections to the proposed Application that are filed with the Department of
Community Services either prior to or at the Public Hearing will be considered and oral
comments concerning the proposed Application will be heard at the Public Hearing.
