Please be advised that the Carmel Board of Zoning Appeals wiUho Id a Public Hearing at
its meeting in the City Hall Caucus Rooms at 5: 15pm on Monday, October 22, 2007,
regarding an application fOF Development Standards Variance o.n property located at 940
West 131 st Street. You are receiving this notification because property records indicate
that you own Land adi acent to that addre~s. A copy of the meeting agenda and aerial
photograph are attached.
The City of Carolel is seeking Development Standards Variances on behalf of the property
owner to relieve the five-acre minimum lot area requirement fora fann.. While the
property is not currently five acres in size, its farm existed at the time of annexation. The
future widening of 131 st Street will reduce the' size even further. The granting of the
proposed Variance should alleviate the property owner of potential undue hardship in
future matters associated. with the reduced lot size,
