I have reviewed the drawings submitted for the July 18, 2007 Technical Advisory Committee meeting, and offer the following comments: ALTERNATIVE TRANSPORTATION REVIE\V COMMENTS 1) The City of Carmel Parking Ordinance requires that all new developments include bicycle parking. The minimum bicycle parking requirement for a new development is four (4) spaces. Therefore this site will require at least four (4) bicycle parking spaces. Please revise your plans to show the required bicycle parking spaces on your site. Please see the City of Carmel's Parking Ordinance in order to determine appropriate locations, specifications and construction detai]s for the above. 2) The Alternative Transportation Plan requires the constmction of a 10' asphalt path along 96th St. Please revise the plans to include and label this path along the entire 96th St frontage. 3) Please indicate ADA compliant handicap ramps at all crossings. 4) Please connect all internal sidewalks, provide sidewalks on each side of the new street, and make a connection to the exterior multi-use path on the east side of the entrance. Please revise the plans to reflect these changes. We request that all responses to our comments be provided in wtiting. Failure to provide written responses may result in delay of the review process. It is critical that this office be made a\vare of all modification made on the plans being re- submitted, pmiicularly if any such changes are considered "new" or fall outside of our previous reviews.
