DESCRIPTION OF REQUEST
Bridgestonc Firestone Diversitied Products ("Firestone") will be the primary tenant of an office building
in Parkwood Crossing West, the office park being developed by Duke Realty on the north side of 96th Street
between U.S. 3 Land Springmill Road. (Please see the aerial photo under TAB 2.) Firestone will occupy the
officc building shown under construction in the photograph and delineated as Building "C" on the enclosed site
plan. (Please see the site plan under TAB 3.)
The Planned Unit Development Ordinance for Park wood Crossing West (2-359-01, the "PUD
Ordinance") provides that Buildings "AU, "B" and "C" may each have two Upper Level, wall Identification Signs
which may be located on either the west, north or east facades. Upper Level signs are to be located on the
permitted building facades at least 26 teet above grade level. All wall signs shall consist of intemally illuminated
individual letters with a maximum sign area not to exceed 90 square feet. In accordance with these development
standards, Firestone is proposing two Upper Level wall signs to be located on the north and east facades of
BuiLding "e". (Please see the building elevations and sign specifications under TAB 4.) These proposed signs
will conform to the design and size criteria set forth in the PUD Ordinance.
