103rd Street Medical Building Expansion
The applicant seeks Development Plan and ADLS amendment approval to constmct a
building addition and site improvements. The site is located at 200 West l03rd Street.
The site is zoned B-3/Business.
Filed by Rich Kelly ofEMH&T for Kite Constmction Company.
The applicant is proposing to expand the existing office building at 200 West 103rd Street. The
site is located on the round-a-bout at the intersection of Illinois Street and West 103rd. The
Reserve at Spring Mill Subdivision is to the west of and northwest of the site. Please see the
informational packet provided by the applicant prior to the May 21 Public Hearing.
The Public Hearing for this item was held on May 21. The applicant made revisions to address
Commission concerns and issues raised by the public as well. The Special Studies Committee
reviewed these changes on August 6th. The Conunittee forwarded a 4-0 favorable
recommendation to the full plan commission.
The Department recommends approval of the DP Amend subject to the following
condition:
1. That the applicant dedicates the additional right-of-way illustrated on the plans
prior to the issuance of a Building Permit.
Additional Note: As a DP Amend, written fmdings are required for action on that item. The
applicant should provide this at the meeting.
The ADLS Amend does not require written findings.
