NEED TO BE BROUGHT TO CODE, NO METER BASE NEEDED
The builder wants this project to take
place in two phases, and he, John Frey,
does understand that there will be extra
inspections and extra fees in order to
accomplish this.
Phase I involves a 576 sq ft (24 x 24)
sunroom addition with HVAC but no
plumbing. This room vvill be combined
with two existing bedrooms during Phase
II. This area (new sunroom & the 2 old
bedrooms) will become pad of the master
bedroom suite.
Phase II involves a three-story, 5767
sq ft addition across the entire rear of
the exisitng house. The basement level
will have a study, family room, weight
room, bar, office, bathroom, & bedroom.
There will also be a two-story porch on
this level and the first floor level,
The first floor will have a hearth room,
kitchen, master bedroom suite, living &
dining rooms, laundry roorn, & garage.
The third level (attic level) will have
a porch.
Also during Phase II remodeling will
take place, primarily in the basement
bathroom area and in the first floor
existing kitchen area.
The existing house has a total square
footage of 3455 (2111 sq ft first floor
and 1244 sq ft basement). It is also on
septic and well. Before Phase it begins
the builder needs to purchase both a
sewer and water permit from Carmel
Utilities. Mr. Frey is aware of this
and will also supply the name of the
sewertwater excavator at that time.
Likewise, he has not selected a plumber.
He will supply this prior to the rough
inspection for Phase II.
This permit is valid only if construction commences %9thin one (1) year of the date of issuance of the State Commercial Design Release. All construction
must he completed (CJO issued) within two (2) years of the issuance date.
