The applicant seeks approval for a ncw ground and wall sign.
The site is located at 313 E Carmel Dr. It is zoned B-8.

The applicant, Kahn's Fine Wines and Marketplace, is changing their name to Vine and Table - Gourmet
Market The applicant seeks committee approval for one new ground sign along Cannel Drive to replace
the existing ground sign and one wall sign facing north, toward Carmel Drive. This site has three road
frontages; therefore one sign per frontage is permitted,
The ground sign must be located at least 5-ft from the road right of way. The ground sign will be 6-ft tall
and 32.25 sq ft in area (6' x 5.38'). It will be internally illuminated; the logo and text will have white
"glowing" edges. There is a blue border around the whole. sign that will be illuminated. The wall sign will
be 65.65 sq ft in area (7.5' x 8.7'). It will be composed of internally illuminated channel letters. The front
canopy of the store where the sign will be located will be painted a light brown color to match the new
slgnage.

The Department of Community Services recommends the Special Studies Committee
approve the request after all comments and concerns have been addressed.
