HomeMy WebLinkAboutCRC-26-2004RESOLUTION NO. 26-2004 WHEREAS, on May 18, 2004, the Carmel Redevelopment. Commission (the "CRC") fully adopted the 2004 Integrated Economic Development Plan and Amended Redevelopment Plan (the "2004 Integrated Plan") pursuant to which certain improvements will be made in certain economic development areas, including the North Illinois Street ED area and.the Illinois Street ED area, as defined in the 2004 Integrated Plan; WHEREAS, the CRC has approved the use of bond proceeds in connection with the acquisition of property under the 2004 Integrated.Plan (the "Illinois Street Bond Project"); WHEREAS, prior to the CRC's purchase of certain land or structures, Indiana Code 36-7-14-19 requires the CRC to indicate by resolution the CRC's interest in purchasing such land or structure; WHEREAS, the property described herein is an integral and necessary part, of the expansion of Illinois Street as anticipated under the 2004 Integrated Plan and is part of the property included in the 2004 Integrated Plan. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Carmel Redevelopment Commission, that: Section 1. The Carmel Redevelopment Commission is interested in purchasing the following described property at the value set forth below in connection with the 2004 Integrated Plan and the Illinois Street Bond Project: Property: 302 Pintail Court, Cannel, Indiana Lot Number 10 in Spring Lake Estates Parcel #17-09-35-01702-010.000 Owner: Nathan B. Maudlin and Jeanne G. Maudlin Purchase Price: $336,250.00 Section 2. This Resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and execution by the CRC.
