If you have not taken care of this already, the following requests for copies of certain parts of
the approved plan come from members of our Planning and Zoning office. Verification that
copies have been received and stamped as approved will be required for submittal for the
building permit.
1. Please submit three (3) copies of the approved site plan to Scott Brewer, DOCS, One Civic Square, Carmel,
IN, 46032. You will be notified when your stamped copies are ready for pickup. Contact: Scott Brewer, City

2. Please submit two (2) copies of the architectural elevation drawings for the structure to Ancelina Conn, DOCS,

Duffy of Carmel Utilities that there will be no additional water!sewer connection and/or
availability permit due for this building. If there is, you will need to either pay for this permit
ahead of time, or bring a check to the submittal meeting. We will need the name of the
contractor who will be doing the excavation of the exterior, lateral connection to the utility line.
That contractor must hold a current bond with the City. Additionally, some of these fees may
have to be approved through the Board of Public Works and Safety. Please contact Dick Hill, at
dhill cr cannel.ut.gov or at (317) 571-2441, for more information regarding this issue. If for any
reason your utility fees will are being waived by either Carmel Utilities or Clay Township
Regional Waste District, or were previously paid, will need paper documentation from those
offices of this.

As we discussed this morning, there is no fee for water connection payable to Carmel Utilities for
Weston Point 93. This fee was taken care of with Indianapolis Water prior to our purchase of their
lines and contrac's in July 2006. The only fee you will be responsible for is a one time new
customer fee of $20.00 and a one time meter fee depending on the size of meter you choose.
Then of course, there will be fees fcr you to pay to your plurrberlezcavator for tapping the line

copies have been received and stamped as approved will be required for submittal for the
