The Staff Report for the above matter asked for additional information regarding the "Used Car Center" sign for
the Mercedes-Benz dealership which is the other tenant for this building.
This sign will be 74.58 square feet and will consist of a black background with white letters. The sign will be
internally illuminated similar to wall signs for the other tenant - Smart Car.
My understanding of the Sign Ordinance is that based on the set back from the ROWand the building frontage
for the Mercedes-Benz tenant, they would be permitted to have a wall sign that is 75 square feet in size. Thus,
the proposed sign is within the permitted size requirements.
Hopefully the above answers the questions posed in the Staff Report. If you should have any questions,
