My office is a little torn apart right now, and probably will not be functioning again until Tuesday. But I will try and set
down with Angie and Christine on Monday and see if there are any additional comments I need to make. I did notice
when looking at the engineered site drawings that you left with me (of the utility and drainage easements), that I had not
seen theswalebefore that runs along the east side of the developement. I had hoped you could get a greater amount of
plaht material in that bufferyard, but with an active drainage swale running along there, that makes it next to impossible.

i appreciate you taking the time to sit down. with me yesterday to go over the needed changes to the site
landscape plans for the Guilford Patio Home project. Last night at the Plan Commission meeting it was
requested that we have comments or a letter from you stating that we are in compliance subj ect to the items you
andT discussed by the Thursday, November 29 subdivision committee meeting.
If you have any additional comments that were not discussed in our meeting yesterday it would be helpful to
have those in hand by next Wednesday the 28th so that we can respond prior to the meeting on Thursday.

These are the latest revisions to the Kousa St Cottages petition. They've increased the eastern buffer to 25', and pulled
everything out of the wetlands entirely. Some of the houses are proposed to be fronHoading, and they're looking at doing
some or all of them attached.

Carmel Plalming Staff,
I wanted to see if we could get a meeting early this week to look at site plan and product ideas regarding the
Guilford site. Attached is the new proposed site lay-out and a few elevation ideas. We are still trying to
determine what product fits within that lot plan. All the product we are reviewing can accommodate either a
front load garage or rear load.
As you can see the number of units was reduced by the new design and we need to avoid that outcome.
However, the positives are that we have increased the east buffer to 20'+ and we are no longer impacting any
portion of the wetland.

Gentlemen,
We've been brainstorming on possible revisions for the Kousa Street Cottage plan, and have come up with a
suggestion. It would flip the houses and the street on the east end of the project, which would require front-
loading garages, but would also give more buffer room to the adjacent neighborhood. It may also be possible to
fit one more lot on the site this way. An attached rough sketch is included. If you have any questions, or would
like to set up a meeting to discuss this project prior to Plan Commission, please let me know.
