Re:
Zoning Variance Application
1700 W. I 06th Street, Canllel, IN 46032
Dear Mark:
I am sending this letter and its attachments for you to include with our Zoning Variance Application. The
attachments include:
I. Copy of a section of our plans signed by Bruce McCaw. Bruce heads the Architectural Review
Committee for the Crooked Stick neighborhood.
2. Endorsement letter from Windemere Neighborhood Association.
3. Endorsement letter from Boyd and Alice Hovde. Their home/property lies immediately west of
us.
4. Endorsement letter from Eric and Andrea Keltner. Their home/property lies immediately east of
us.
5. Copy of the Publisher's Affidavit evidencing publication of our Public Notice in the Indianapolis
Star on October 26, 2007.
6. Aerial photographs showing the location of the new garage.
We have presented our plans to the Coppergate Neighborhood Association and expect an endorsement of
our plans from them in the coming days.
We have been very careful to communicate our plans to all interested parties. We are members of the
Crooked Stick Golf Club, as are many of the homeowners nearby. We want all to feel comfortable that
our planned improvements will have a positive effect on home values now and in the future.
We are seeking a variance as our proposed detached garage cannot lie behind our home. The new garage
will match the home in every respect and will appear attached, to the extent it can be seen at all. Our
gated lot is heavily landscaped along I 06lh Street and the garage will be roughly 200 feet back from l06th
Street.
Please let me know if anyone involved in this process has any questions whatsoever.
