Dear Mr. J ett:
This letter is in response to your Amended Secondary Plat filing for West Carmel Center, Block D. As I
indicated om office requires three paper copies and a mylar of the recorded plat. When the mylar and
paper copies were re~eived the signatures were missing. You delivered to this office after that one paper
copy of a signature page. This is not adequate.
Please provide three paper copies and a mylar of the recorded Amended Secondary Plat for Block D.
Tbjs will allow us to close this file and enter the lots for future permitting.

RE: West Carmel Center, Block D - Amended Secondary Plat
Dear Ms. Poczekay:
This letter is in response to your Amended Secondary Plat filing for West Carmel Center, Block D. The
following issues must be resolved prior to signature of the plat by the director:
1. Provide 10' landscape easement along east side oflots 2 & 3. This will serve to compensate
for the required 5' buffer that would otherwise be required along both property lines.
2. Move Plan Commission Certificate to page 4.
3. Change note of "Prepared for" to "Subdivider."
4. The legend needs to be shown per Chapter 8.2 of the SCO (with lengths and type)
5. Add addresses and phone numbers to "Owners" notation.
6. Remove the date of approval from sheet 3, and add the date of submission to sheet 3.
7. Complete the source oftitle on sheet 3.
8. Add names to the County Commissioners Certificate.
9. Have a Mylar signed by property owner and surveyor prior to signature by director.
10. Forward a copy of the final review I approval letters from the following agencies:
a. Hamilton County Highway
b. Hamilton County Surveyor
Please submit a revised Secondary Plat with the above-mentioned changes. Once these changes have
been made and corrunents addressed, please produce a mylar copy for signature by this Department. Two
paper copies of the plat must be filed \vith the mylar prior to recording. I will return the signed mylar to
you for signature by the County Conunissioners. Once recorded, our Department needs three paper
copies and a mylar ofthe recorded plat. Our approval of the secondary plat (signature) will be
forthcoming upon revision of the plans according to the items listed above.

This letter serves to follow up comments from our phone conversation of April 19, 2002. The
Highway Department will not require the additional right of way alon~ Commerce Drive as
originally requested. However, the additional right of way along 1061 Street will still be required of
the project. On 10eth Street. the right of way from the intersection to a point 500' to the east is a
65' half. From that point to the eastern property line the right of way Is a 50' half. A 50' triangular
cut is also needed at the intersection, connecting the right of way for the perimeter streets.
All other comments in previous correspondence stili apply to this project. If you have any

This letter serves to acKnowledge receipt of a transmittal received 4/1102, containing the plans for
the above-mentioned project. After reviewing the plat the Highway Department has the following
comments:
1 . An Application for Project Review needs to be completed and the appropriate review
fees for a Secondary Plat paid. before any approvals will be granted from this office. I
have enclosed a blank form for your use.
2. Please remove the phrase .Proposed INOOl L.A.R.W ," from the plat, unless the right of
way has been purchased. If the right of way has been purchased. the appropriate
Instrument Numbers will be required.

Hello everyone:
Following are CTRWD comments on the agenda items effecting our sanitary sewers or service
area for the April 17 TAC meeting. Please feel free to copy and distribute this email or
attach it to your meeting minutes. We have also created a new page on our website linked
to the "Construction" page where we have posted all CTRWD TAC comments from 2001 and 2002
meetings held to date. We will continue to add to this page every month so please let
everyone know they can view our comments online now too.
West Carmel Center Block B
The plans received by the District only showed a sewer connection for one building; each
building needs to have its own individual connection to the District's sewer so the plans
will need to be revised to show how the whole site will be served.
West Carmel Center Block D
2i'The District has no comments on the re-plat unless it effects the sanitary sewers in
development.
Sedgwick Subdivision
The District has no comments on the plat but will need to review and approve construction
plans when they are completed. The petitioner should contact the District's engineering

Attached, please find the replat of Block D at West Carmel Center for your review.
The plat has been revised from the original plat that was presented to you in 2000.
The replat, altered from its original state, reflects boundary divisions that have
occurred as part of the development. Currently, SuperTarget resides on Lot 1. The
plans for this development and its related infrastmcture were presented to you while
SuperTarget was in the Carmel ADLS process. You will have the opportunity to
review design documents in the future for the development of both Lots 2 and 3 as
presented in this replat. No additional constmction is being proposed as part of this
replat.
