ASTM specifications C-700 for extra strength clay pipe of latest revision unless other materials are hereby permitted in writing. The sewer
shall be installed in accordance with AS'l M 2321 for pvc pipe and the Uniform Plumbing Code for the State of Indiana All installations shall be
in strict compliance with pertinent Cin, of Carmel ordinances. Back Water check halves shall be installed in accordance with City Code Section
9-122(a). and sections 113008.1 and 2 of the International Residential Code. All building sewers shall be 6' diameter.
All installation- -hall be `open trench" inspected and approved by the Carmel Sewer Deparnnent before any backfilling i<_ done. Non-
compliance may result in digging up the sewer installation and/or denial of (inure sewer permits andior denial of water connections.
No footins or foundation drains or other sources of ground water or storm water shall he permitted to enter the public sewer.
Sewer inspections should be requested at (3 171 5,71-2048 one to tour hours in advance.
No inspections or installations will be made on Saturday or Sunday or holidays unless arrangements are made at least 24 hours in advance. All
plumbers or contractors installing server (or water) lines shall have a plumbers bond posted with the CITY ENGINEER'S OFFICE. It any street
