RECOGNITION Of CITY rtMPLOYEES AND OUTSTANDING CITIZENS: Mayor Brainard presented an Outstanding CitizcnAward to I vanne Offenbacker fonccr ``Straight 2 the Street's" initiative which raises inoney, btis ticketstand other donation-for homeIess,inclividuals in downtown Indianapolis. She`was also recognized its a 2007 Power of Children award winner foi- this contribution to her community. Mayor Brainard presented an Outstanding citizen Award to Weston Luzadder.for his "Bikes 4 Kids Club" initiative which has collected and distributed 41 bikes and helmets,to underprivileged kids. He was also recognized as a 2007 Power'of Children award winner for this contribution to his conuiiuiuty. Council President Griffiths stated that-he had asked the City Attomey to confirm whether the Ethics Board had met. Councilor Sharp addressed Stephanie Gemelas' comments regarding the, Keystone,Avcnue ordinance. Councilor Scidensticker addressed Zeff Weiss' comments•regarding.the Keystone Avenue.ordihance. Councilor Glaser addressed comments regarding the Keystone Avenue ordinance will discussed several issues that were discussed at the Utilities, Transportation an&Public Safety Committee regarding Keystone Avenue. Councilor Carter thanked Councilor Kirby for his 12 years of:service to the City. Councilor Carter also announced that he would he officially withdrawing Ordinaice D-1'880-07 (Imposition of Weight Limits on Keystone. Avenue) and-returmn.- the ordinance to the first Council meeting in January. Mayor Brainard addressed comments i eg?trding the Keystone Avenue ordinance. Clerk-Treasurer Diana L. This Ordinance was WITHDRAWN by Councilor Carter without objection.
