Lillig: On behalf of our client, Drees Premier Homes, we request that the referenced ADLS Amendment petition be continued to the July 2, 2002, meeting of the Special Studies Committee. We request this continuance to allow representatives of Drees Premier Homes to have further discussion with the residents of The Lakes at Hazel Dell about the proposed signs. At the annual Homeowners Association Meeting held May 14, 2002, the design of the proposed signs Were discussed but not finalized. A design committee for the signs has been established to bring the project to a conclusion. We understand that no further actions are required to continue the referenced petition. Consequently, representatives of Drees Premier Homes will not be present at the June 4, 2002, meeting. We offer the following comments: 1. It appears that Items 1.,2. and 3. from our original project review letter dated July 11,2000 have been satisfactorily addressed. 2. Is it a correct assumption on our part that none of tile sanitary sewer and sLonn sewer structurefpi~ removals have been started and/or completed? 3. Label the existing sanitary se\ver running N-S along west side. 4. Show entire length of new sanitary on Development Plan (structure 415 is noL shmm). 5. Please add the following statement to sheet ClOI, Development Plan (below the stann sewer structure data table) and to Sheet C601, Stann Sewer Plan and Profile. THE STORM SEWER SYSTEM SHALL BE CONSTRUCTED PER DESIGN SPECIFIED AND AS APPROVED BY THE CIn' OF CARMEL ON THE FINAL APPROVED CONSTRUCTION PLANS*. DEVIATIONS FROM THE APPROVED DESIGN SHALL ONL Y BE PERMITTED DUE TO SPECIAL CIRCUMSTANCES OR DIFFICULTY DURING CONSTRUCTION AND WILL REQUIRE PRIOR FIELD APPROVAL FROM A DESIGNA TED REPRESENT A TrVE OF THE CITY OF CARMEL IN ADDITION TO SUPPLEMENTAL APPROVAL BY THE DESIGN ENGINEER AN EXPLANATION OF ANY SUCH DEVIATION SHALL BE INCLUDED AS A REQUIREMENT ON AS- BUILT/RECORD DRAWINGS SUBMITTED FOR RELEASE OF PERFORMANCE GUARANTEES. Slopes for tile relocated storm sewers at their absolute minimum. We will not accepL them constructed at any variation. Show on profile or indicate on plan view the segment of pipe to be cx1:ended out of structure 655 (this is piece removed and replaced). 9. Structure 660 - may have to field evaluate conditions during pipe removal. If condition and/or grooving/core drilling causes structure damage, we mIl require a new structure. 10. Why has the relocated storm sewer been upsized? 1 L Why is there a high point between structure 654 and structure N.E. of it? This causes a 1.2' drop in 18' (6.6% slope). The elevation should be 751.50. 12. Sheet C201- Existing 21" RCP to be removed. Shouldn't this be 18"? 13. Sheet C401- Existing 24" RCP (between 413 and 414). Shouldn't this be 21",? 14. Sheet C801- Typical StrceVPavement Section. Please remove 26' back of curb to back of curb and related dimensions for cul de sacs. Label the underdrain including the size. 15. Sheet C80l - Include standard detail for storm sewer pipe under pavement (and within 5' of pavement)(B-borrow/granular backfill all the way up. 16. Identify Section 9 as proposed. Identify Sections 1 and 7 as existing and Section 10 as future. 17. All water and sanitary sewer issues must be reviewed and approved by Carmel Utilities.
