The sign advertises for McDonald's coffee located at 750 Carmel Dr E, in the City of Carmel. The violation is in regard to the Volkswagon currently parked on the parking lot. As per Section 25.07.01- 4 Prohibited Signs, of the Carmel Zoning Ordinance this type of sign display is prohibited: q) It shall be prohibited to park or use a vehicle in such a way as to function as a sign, defined to include the parking of any vehicle, trailer or similar movable structure containing or supporting any signage between the right-of-way line and any public street and the -greater of two distances: forward of the Front Line of Building of the Principal Building or one hundred- fifty (150) feet from the public right-of-way. This letter shall serve as the first and final warning for this type of violation. Please relocate the VW by February 19, 2007. After this date, any temporary sign violation shall be documented and further enforcement action will be taken.
