RE: ZONING ORDINANCE VIOLATION -TEMPORARY SIGN(S)
Dear Sir or Madam:
This letter is being provided to inform you that a temporary sign(s) violation has been
brought to this department's attention. The sign(s) advertises for Rich's Furniture,
located at 1030 S. Range Line Road, in the City of Carmel, a property listed under your
ownership. BUSINESSES ARE NOT PERMITTED TO DISPLAY TEMPORARY SIGNS,
regardless of whether or not the sign is located on the business's premises. According to
Section 25.07.01-4 Prohibited Signs, of the Carmel/Clay Zoning Ordinance the following
sign(s) are prohibited:
(f) Signs consisting of banners, posters, pennants, ribbons, streamers,
strings of light bulbs, spinners or similar devices, unless they are permitted
specifically by other sections of this Ordinance.
This letter shall serve as the first and final warning for this type of violation. Please
remove the illegal sign by March 30, 2007. If you have any questions or comments
