Atka- Division of Building and Code Services May 10, 2007 Scott M and Molly Heil 11211 Railing Springs Drive Carmel, Indiana 46433 RE: CITE' CODE VIOLATION - CONDITION OF FENCE VIACERTIFIED MAIL Dear Mr_ And Ms. Heil: This letter is being provided to inform you that an inquiry was made to the Department of Community Services regarding a possible City Code Violation at 11211 Rolling Springs Drive, in the City of Carmel, a property listed under your ownership. An inspection revealed that the concern appears to be valid and that the property is in violation of the Carmel City Code §6-222 B: (6) Accessory structures. All accessory structures, including detached garages, fences and walls, shall be maintained structurally sound and repaired as to not be dangerous, unsafe, unsanitary or otherwise unfit for human use; or shall not be an invitation to children and endanger the lives of such children, or which because of its condition has become a fire hazard and shall not be installed or located such that they cause, create or result in or represent the potential to cause, create or result in a Detriment. The current condition of the fence in the rear yard of this property is a property maintenance issue as per the above quoted City Code. Please bring this property into compliance by June 25, 2007, Failure to resolve the violation by the specified deadline will result in further enforcement action by the City of Carmel.
