Range Line Rd. To Whom It May Concern: This letter is being provided to inform you that the outdoor display of merchandise for sale at 1230 S. Range Line Rd., is prohibited as per Carmel City Code Chapter 6-59, which states: No person shall use any street, sidewalk or other public place for the display or sale of goods or merchandise, or write or affix any signs or advertisements on any pavement. In addition, BUSINESSES ARE NOT PERMITTED TO DISPLAY TEMPORARY SIGNS, regardless of whether or not the sign is located on the business's premises. According to Section 25.07.01-4 Prohibited Signs, of the CarmeUClay Zoning Ordinance the following sign(s) are prohibited: (f) Signs consisting of banners, posters, pennants, ribbons, streamers, strings of light bulbs, spinners or similar devices, unless they are permitted specifically by other sections of this Ordinance. To avoid further enforcement action, please permanently discontinue displaying merchandise for sale outdoors and remove the illegal banner by July 5, 2007.
