The applicant is seeking reduction of the front yard green-belt buffer adjacent to Michigan Road from 30' to 10'. To mitigate this request the applicant is in the process of obtaining from the Indiana Department of Transportation permission to encroach approximately 17 feet into their ROW to install a mound and additional landscaping adjacent to Michigan Road in order to provide additional buffering and landscaping.
