RE: CARMEL CITY CODE WEEDS/GRASS VIOLATION
Dear Sir or Madam:
This letter is being provided to inform you that the property at 740 First Ave. NW, a
property list under your ownership, is in violation of Carmel City Code § 6-88 (Ordinance
No. D-1557-02), Indiana Code §36-1-3-6 (b)(1), and Carmel City Code §6-106(b).
(c) Requirement to cut. All owners of real property ("property") located within the
City shall cut and remove weeds and other rank vegetation growing thereon that
exceeds an average height of six inches, and shall keep their property clear of
debris.
6-106 (b) A Junk Car shall mean any motor vehicle which does not bear a
currently valid license plate, is inoperable, and is not kept in a garage or building.
Please be advised, if the above referenced violation is not corrected within ten (10) days
from the date of this letter, this matter will be brought into compliance by the City of
Carmel. All grass/weeds on the property must be cut and maintained under the 6 inch
maximum, and the junk car must be removed, garaged, or brought current on plates and
operability. You, as property owner(s) will be liable and billed for the cost of correcting the
violation and all administrative costs if not brought into compliance. If you have any
