Attached to this letter is a public notice form notifying you of a forthcoming meeting of
the Call11ellClay Board of Zoning Appeals on Tuesday May 28,2002 at 7:00 p.m. at Cannel City
Hall. Our clients, 5254 Tivoli Partnership and Kosene Mohawk, LLC, are requesting celiain
variances with respect to a new center identification sign for the Mohawk Landing Shopping
Center located at the southeast comer of Range Line Road and 126111 Street. One of the purposes
ofthis meeting is for the Board of Zoning Appeals to receive comments and review the project.

Thanks for the message. We belleve the slgn\e~mplles wlth ~~/ ocatlon
requirement in the Sign Ordinance. There are':i:2wo right-of7w~;y lines shown on
the site plan. The easternmost and southermnOs,t>fine~s.h:~)a temporary
right-of-way for construction purposes that has' :r:ev~i-):eiY"i:o the property
owner. The westernmost and northernmost lines show the permanent
right-of-way for Range Line Road and 126th Street, respectively. One of the
site plans that was filed shows this in more detail. Please respond if you
have any questions.

Mark,
While reviewing the file for the Mohawk Landing Center Identification Ground
Sign, I have noticed that the site plan identifies the sign as being located
ten feet diagonally from the northwest corner of the property. This would
place the sign closer than ten feet from the East 126th Street and South
Range Line Road rights-of-way. Would you like to make application for the
setback requirement, as well? If so, please respond and I will assign a
Docket No. for the petition pending receipt of an application.
