Mail Dear Ms. Stewart, At the meeting held Tuesd(:lY, May 28, 2002, the Carmel/Clay Board of Zoning Appeals took the following action regarding the Developmental Standards Variance petitions filed by Jeffrey R. Bischoff ofBSA Design for property located at 1078 Third Avenue Southwest: APPROVED with Conditions: Docket No. V-52-02, a Developmental Standards Variance of Section 27.3.2 in order to forego curbing the parking lot. The Board voted five (5) in favor, zero (0) opposed, thereby approving the petition with the following Conditions agreed to by the petitioner's representative: 1) That the aesthetic impact be mitigated by a row of low shrubs along the parking lot perimeter. 2) That a Landscape Plan showing these plantings be submitted to the Department of Community Services no later than Monday, June 17, 2002, for review and administrative approval. The Board voted five (5) in favor, zero (0) opposed, thereby apprdving the petitiOl.l with the following Conditions agreed to by the petitioner's representative: f'! : \~~'iJ t'( I I) That the parking plan be revised to show parking spaces of adequate dimensions to meet the requirements of the Cannel/Clay Zoning Ordinance. Please be advised that per Section 30.5.5: Time Limit of the Zoning Ordinance, the aforementioned Developmental Standards Variance approvals are valid for one (1) year. By that time, either continuous construction of site improvements must be underway, or a written request for a one-time, six-month extension of the approval must have been received and approval granted by this Department prior to the expiration date.
