Notice is hearby given that the Carmel Board of Zoning Appeals meeting on the 28th day of May,
2002 at 7:00pm in the City Hall Council Chambers, 1 Civic Square, Carmel, IN 46032 will hold a
Public Hearing upon a Development Standards Variance Application to: Refer to Exhibit "B",
The property being known as Custom Cast Stone, Inc. with the purchaser being Hamilton County

The approval of this variance will not be injurious to the public health, safety, morals and
general welfare of the community because: The existing parking lot currently functions
properly, and efficiently.
2. The use and value of the area adjacent to the property included in the variance will not be
afIected in a substantially adverse manner because: The proposed condition currently exists.
3. The strict application onhe terms of the Zoning Ordinance to the property will result in practical
difficulties in the use of the property because: Removal of pavement, regrading and drainage
patterns would need to be altered and additional stonn drainage structures would need
