Explanation
The St. EI izabeth Ann Seton Church, having a common address of 10655 Haverstick Road,
Carmel, Indiana 46033, is located at the northeast intersection of Haverstick Road and 106th Street.
It is depicted onExhibit 2, an aerial photograph of the real estate. The Church desires to construct
a rectory upon the real estate as a residence for its priests. The main floor of the rectory wi1t be
approximately 3,000 square feet and the walkout basement will be approximately 1,000 square feet.
The rectory is designed to be consistent with the existing church building on the Real Estate.
A church is a special use within the 8-1 district for which the real estate is zoned. As such,
we are requesting an amendment to the special use previously granted to the Church.
Exhibit 3 is a rendering of the proposed site plan, Exhibit 4 is a rendering of the tree
preservation plan, and Exhibit 5 is the proposed landscape plan. Exhibit 6 and Exhibit 7 are colored
renderings of the front building elevation and rear building elevation, respectively. Finally, Exhibit
8 is a.rendering ofthe left and right building elevation which also depicts the building materials for
the proposed rectory building.
We look forward to presenting this request to you at the Board of Zoning Appeals hearing
scheduled for June 24, 2002.
