We have not received a written response regarding our original review dated October 21, 2003. I will repeat our original comments with additional comments regarding the revised plans and original cormncnts balded and italicized. ]. Is the school corporation dedicating additional right of way with this development? It appears that there will be an additional 5-feet of l:ight of way dedicated on both] ] 6u] Street and on Haverstick Road. It also appears that the sidewalk on Haverstick Road is constructed partially outside of the existing right of way. I believe YOllr answer at T.A.C. was /l0. However, our 20-Year Thoroughfare Plan indicates ] ] 61h Street as a Primary Parkway with (l half right-of-way requirement of 70-feet. Is or was thi~. your understanding from Ollr Department of Community Services? It appears tlte plans still indicate a proposed halfright-of-wuy of 50-feet. 2. On the Overall Layout Plan, G 1.1, it is difficult to determine what is being added. Perhaps shading or cross hatching the additions would help. Assume the plans indicate the addition of Unit A (additional classrooms) and Unit B (?) and interior renovations to the existing building? The revised plans clarify this issue satisfactorily. 3. Are there revisions planned for the storm sewers on the north side of the building on Sheet G 1.1 ? There is bold type and it is confusing what is being done in this area. The revised plans are confusing. On the Demo Plan, only one structure is indicated as being replaced. It also indicates the existing 8" vcp as being plugged. On the Site Utility Plan, it appears there are 3-11ew structures (10,] ],] 2) and new RCP (97lf, 1 06lf, 46/fJ being instulled. Also confusing us to how thisnlfl of pipe ftlllctiollS. Where is the pipe COlt1lectioll for the invert ill (.~w) for structure 12? Also, where is the pipe cOIll/ection for the i!H'ert out (Jle) for structure 12'? Basically, how does structure] 2 fm/ctioJl? 4. It would appear that additional impervious areas are being added to the site. Are there drainage calculations available? Have revised calculations been completed? 5. Is thcre a construction entrance planned? How will construction equipment access the site? If a temporary construction entrance is plarmed, at a location other than an existing entrance, approval will be required from our Board of Public Works and Safety. I believe )'011 indicated at T.A.C that there would not be a construction entrance. They will also determine if additional water and sanitary sewer availability will be required. Has Carmel Utilities provided a response?
