This letter is being provided to inform you that a temporary sign(s) violation has been brought to this department's attention. The sign(s) advertises for Sherlock Bones, located at 1610 East 116"' Street, in the City of Carmel, a property listed under your ownership. BUSINESSES ARE NOT PERMITTED TO DISPLAY TEMPORARY SIGNS, regardless of whether or not the sign is located on the business's premises. According to Section 25.07.01-4 Prohibited Signs, of the Carmel/Clay Zoning Ordinance the following sign(s) are prohibited: i) Signs which are located upon, over, or in any street or highway right-of-way, except for official highway signs; j) Portable signs which are portable or moveable, except as permitted under provisions of this section. This letter shall serve as the first and final warning for this type of violation. Please remove the illegal signs by February 27, 2008.
