Edmonson FINDINGS OF FACT - DEVELOPMENTAL STANDARDS VARIANCE 1. The approval of this variance will not be injurious to the public health, safety, morals and general welfare of the community because: picture 112&3 2. The building is set over 100 feet from the street and I have only 25 feet of frontage, which is blocked by other buildings closer to the road. My signs are the only means of identification for my business. There is another business on the corner that sits less than forty feet from the road. A homeowner on the other side of the property sits less than thirty feet from the road. Because of this, it is virtually impossible to see my building entrance from the road. My signs are the onLy means for my customers to see my location without causing a traffic hazard. I have run my business for fourteen years and maintained a good reputation with the community, my customers and suppliers. I cannot afford expensive advertising. The signs and the yellow pages are my only means of advertising. I also maintain a full-time job with Our Lady ofMt. Carmel, and have been in their employ for the last 16 years. Originally, I operated my business out of my home which I rent from Our Lady ofMt Carmel. This property is in the process ofbecoming Blessed Theordore Guerin High School. That was why I decided to move my business and purchased this piece of property. I also have crippling Rheumatoid Arthritis, which may prevent.me from working the rest of my years at Our Lady of Mt.
