The site is more specifically described within Township 18, Range 04, Section 28. Four drainage basins exist that shed surface water from this site. The individual basins drain north (D. G. Mitchner, Hamilton County Regulated Drain Basin), east (Canington Woods Subdivision), southeast (Carrington Woods Subdivision) and southwest (Bay Hill Subdivision). Improvements planned for the southwest and southeast basins include additions to the school building, parking areas and tennis courts. Soils Soil types present at the site include Miami and Ockley series. The exhibit 1 sheet and exhibit 3 sheet depicts the existing soil areas. Exhibits 2 and 4 depict the existing and proposed impervious surface areas for each soil series. u Southwest Basin The existing onsite stann sewer collects runoff from the building and southwest parking area and discharges to the southwest comer through a 30" RCP. The 30" RCP drains south beneath 126th Street and eventually connects with the lake located in Bay Hill Subdivision. Because the southwest basin is discharged directly, the intent of this drainage study was to not increase the 2, 10, or 100-year runoff rate for this basin. Southeast Basin The southeast basin collects the southeast parking area and areas east and north of the building. The southeast basin includes an existing detention area that also serves as an ecology study center. The intent of this study was to not increase the CUITent 2, 10, 100- year pond discharge for this basin. Conclusion The proposed construction plans do not include impervious surface additions to the north basin and minimal hard surface addition to the southeast basin. u The southwest and southeast basins include the additions of impervious surface.
