At the meeting held Monday, November 25, 2002, the Cannel/Clay Advisory Board of
Zoning Appeals took the following action regarding the Development Standards Variances filed by
you for property located southwest of East 146th Street and U.S. 31:
APPROVED with Conditions: Docket No. Y-185-02, a Development Standards Variance
petition of Section 25. 7. 03-03 (c)(2)(ii) in order to establish a 128-square-foot temporary
real estate sign.
The Board voted four (4) in favor, zero (0) opposed, thereby"approving the petition with the
Conditions listed below.
APPROVED with Conditions: Docket No. Y.186.02, a Development Standards Variance
petition of Section 25.7. 03-03{d)(2) in order to establish a ten-foot tall temporary real
estate sign.
The Board voted four (4) in favor, zero (0) opposed, thereby approving the petition with the
Conditions listed below.

APPROVED: Docket No.. V-187-02, a Development Standards Variance petition of Section
25. 7. 03~03(h) in order to establish an internally illuminated, temporary real estate sign.
The Board voted four (4) in favor, zero (0) opposed, thereby approving the petition with the
following Condition:
1. that the approval is granted for a period of three (3) years, and the petitioner shall
return to the BZA no later than the November 2005 meetingifthey wish to renew
the Development Standards Variance approvals.
*When applying for Sign Permits for this structure, please include a copy of this
letter with your application materials in order to assist the Department's review.
Please be advised that per Section 25: 07, 03: Temporary Signs of the Zoning Ordinance,
. Temporary Sign Permits are only valid for a one-year duration, at which time it is the
responsibility of the sign's owner to renew the permit. .
Please be advised that per Section 30S5: Time Limit of the Zoning Ordinance, the
aforementioned Development Standards Variance approvals are valid for one CJ) year. By that
time, either continuous construction of sign improvements must be underway, or a Written
request for a one-time, six -month extension of the approval must have been received and
approval granted by this Department. The expiration date of these approvals is Tuesday,
November 25, 2003.
