Dear Kevin,
1 first would like to say that we favored the annexation of Northwood Fulls by the City of Carmel. lam
an+aoosly awaiting a safe pathway connecting us to our north neighboring subdivision Plum Creek via
River Road & Medalist Parkway!!
The matter at hand is that, I have always fell we live in a gem of a neighborhood that allowed us to raise
our children in a safe and beautiful environment with elbow room and nature surrounds. Unfortunately,
over the years and most recently, we have experienced an influx of low to no maintenance homeowners.
Beautification awards via our "Neighborhood Association" have fallen Hat in their attempt to enthuse
homeowners to take interest in their property and homes.
Several homeowners have cut down major trees to make room for parking trailers and campers, etc., and a
recent newcomer on Forest Lane installed black chain link fencing and has plans to cut trees on their south
yard to make room for their camper! You get the picture I'm sure.
As per a recent conversation with Pam or Rachel, I have compiled a list of homeowners residing in
Northwood Hills that we feel are violating city ordinances. Since our moving into Northwood [Sills over
15 years ago, we have been sicker ed by the lack of homecare and lot maintenance of many surrounding
neighbors. One of the biggest property violations in the most recent years has been non operational vehicic
storage and campers being parked in front or on sides of 25+ homes. In addition, the lack of c3derior
property and home maintenance is becoming more apparent m the southern most end of the neighborhood
due to flood water levels possibly, but nonetheless, the deterioration is unsigbily. We have sited gutter loss,
sitting deterioration. peeling paint, collapsed above ground pools and the list could go on.
Please feel free to call me in the need further discussion is necessary. We do not wish to be exposed the
reporting parvy, as we don 't anticipare "happy campers" upon receiving city notices. We do not stand
alone m our attempt for city compliance-. however, I just don't feet the "Neighborhood Association" is
being taken seriously by the many violators. We sited obvious violations; however, welcome your
ounces as well with any additional citations you feel are warranted in support of our Forts.
Thank you in advance for your time spent in supporting what Camtel works so hard to achieve and
maintain. Look forward to watching a transition back to the beautiful gem Northwood Hills used to be.
