The real estate and existing improvements are shown on the aerial photograph included under Tab 2. The real estate is zoned Sl, and the Church exists by reason of an approved special use. By this request, the Church is seeking a special use amendment and development standards variance pertaining to the height of a proposed building addition for the Church's new worship sanctuary. The request to amend the previously obtained special use approval pertains to: (i) a proposed expansion of the Church's worship sanctuary to accommodate this growing church and its needs; (1i) a proposed additional parking area on the eastern portion of the Real Estate; (iii) a proposed relocation of entrance and exit drive areas; and, (iv) the relocation of an existing ground sign, and other minor modifications depicted on the plans and drawings that are included within this brochure. The request for the developmental standards variance request pertains to a variance from the height restrictions in the S 1 zoning classification. Tn this regard, the proposed expansion of the Church's worship sanctuary will be slightly taller than the existing church structure and, as a result, requires a variance. To illustrate this request, the following are enclosed: Tab 3 - Amended Site Plan Depicting the Proposed Modifications to the Site. Tab 4 - Landscape Plan Depicting Additional Plantings. Tab 5 - Renderings of the Proposed Worship Sanctuary Expansion and Related Elevation Drawings. Tab 6 - Photometric Plan and Light Fixture Exhibits.
