Northview Christian Life Church Zoning Request
Dear Neighbor:
You should have recently received a certified letter advising you of a public hearing
before the City of Carmel's Board of Zoning Appeals that will occur on April2Sth, 2008 at 6:00
p.m. in the Council Chambers, Second Floor, City Hall building. The zoning application is
identified by docket numbers 08020026 SUA and 08020032 V and it pertains to Northview
Christian Life Church's request for approval to construct certain additions to the Church
grounds, primarily including an addition to its sanctuary/auditorium facility.
In advance of the public hearing before the Board of Zoning Appeals scheduled for
April 28, 2008 at 6:00 p.m., we wanted to invite you to a neighborhood meeting to meet with you
and provide an overview our proposal. To this end, we have scheduled an informal
neighborhood meeting on Wednesday, April 16th at 6:30 p.m., in Room L2 of the Church,
which room is located on the lower level of the Church building. During this infoffilal
neighborhood meeting, we will review with you our plans and address your comments and
ll1q ulfIes.

Indiana 46033. The Northview Christian Life Church is located on the Real Estate.
The Application requests (i) an amendment of a previously obtained special use
approval to permit the expansion of the Church's sanctuary; an additional parking area on the
eastern portion of the Real Estate, the relocation of entrance and exit drive areas, the relocation
of an existing ground sign, and other modifications depicted on the plans and drawings filed
with the Application; and, (ii) a developmental standards variance to permit the expansion of the
Church's sanctuary to exceed the height requirement ofthe underlying zoning district.
