Staff comments/concerns:
1. The City Forester is comfortable with tills item going back to Full Plan Commission, but has
requested some minor changes, such as addressing the issue of the plantings within the 35-ft wide
easement along the south property line. However, the plans are very close to being approved.
2. The Engineering Dept is comfortable with tills item going back to Full Plan Commission, but
would like to tie up some loose ends with the petitioner before the project appears at the Full Plan
Commission meeting.
3. The petitioner should consider using pervious pavers in all or part of the parking area.
4. Though not required, the petitioner should consider using LEED or 'green' building practices.
The Department of Community Services recommends the Committee forward this item to the April
15 Plan Commission meeting with a favorable recommendation, after all questions/concerns are
addressed.
