Re: BZA Docket No. PZ-2025-00038 V: Spring Mill Shops Sign Variance
Dear Ms. Cutler,
At the meeting held on Monday, March 24, 2025, the Carmel Board of Zoning Appeals Hearing Officer took the
following action regarding the Development Standards Variance (V) request filed by you for the property located at
11675 Village Corner Court:
APPROVED: Spring Mill Shops Sign Variance – Development Standards Variance request for:
• PZ-2025-00038 V: One wall sign for the rear parking lot Public Access Entrance Facade is allowed if the
building is set back 15 feet or less from the street right-of-way; Parking Lot (West) Facing Wall Signs
granted for Buildings “B” and “C” (and these buildings are set back 24'-28' from the street right-of-
way).
Please be advised that per Article 9.15 of the Unified Development Ordinance, the aforementioned Development
Standards Variance approval is valid for three (3) years. By that time, either continuous construction of the
improvements must be underway, or a written request for a one-time, six-month extension of the approval must
have been received and approval granted by this Department. The expiration date of the approval is March 24,
2028.
Please include a copy of this letter with any permit application.
