GENERAL LANDSCAPE & PLANTING NOTES
1.Refer to Sheet L600 for Site Plant Schedule and Site Planting Details.
2.For Vehicular Pavements, Curbs, Curb Ramps, Grading, Drainage, MUTCD Signage, and Utilities Refer to
Civil Plans.
3.For building information Refer to Architectural and Structural Plans.
4.Contractor responsible for locating all utilities in field prior to beginning work. Contractor responsible
for repairing any damage to utilities to the satisfaction of the owner, utility owner, and operating
authority at no additional cost.
5.Contractor to stake all tree locations prior to planting. Final placement of plant materials shall be
approved by Landscape Architect. Contractor responsible for relocation of incorrectly placed plant
material at no additional cost.
6.All plants to meet or exceed size standards as set forth by the 'Standards for Nursery Stock'.
7.Contractor to seed all disturbed areas not indicated as planting bed or hardscape on the plans.
8.Plan documents indicate minimum plant material required. Contractor responsible for calculating plant
quantities based on plans, details, and field conditions.
9.Contractor to install plant material in accordance with all local codes and ordinances. See Landscape
Ordinance Chart below.
10.If plant quantities indicated on plan are not available, contractor shall notify Landscape Architect prior to
bidding. Otherwise, substitution of plant material will not be permitted.
11.All planting beds shall have a minimum of 36" uncompacted soil, free from weeds or deleterious materials
larger than 1".
12.All planting beds to receive a minimum of 3" shredded hardwood bark mulch, except as noted in the
planting details.

Section 3.50.B - Automobile Parking Standards
Requirement: Parking shall be provided per Article 5, Section 5.28(B): Additional Parking and Loading
Regulations, unless otherwise stated for parcels in the Old Town Overlay District.
Section 3.50.C - Bicycle Parking Standards
Requirement: Bicycle parking shall be provided in accordance with Article 5, Section 5.29: Bicycle
Parking Standards; however, the required number of bicycle parking spaces in the Monon Greenway
Overlay District shall be double. The number of spaces may include the long-term bicycle parking
