A copy of the notice is enclosed for your convenience. Mr. Ayad has had no "junk vehicles" on his property. Enclosed are photos of the vehicles, each bearing a license plate, or valid temporary plate. Each of the vehicles is operable. Please note that Mr. Ayad is involved in an ongoing dispute with the neighbor at 9639 Maple Drive (next door). If that neighbor is the source of this complaint, or any future complaints, I ask you to consider that this neighbor may be using your office to harass Mr. Ayad. Ayad 9637 Maple Dr. Indianapolis, tndiana 46280 RE: POSSIBLE ZONING ORDINANCE VIOLATIONIJUNK VEHICLE Mr. Ayad This letter is being provided to inform you that our department has recently received some concerns regarding 9637 Maple Dr. in the City of Carmel, a property listed under your ownership. The concern cited that a possible automobile repair service business was being operated at this property, which is zoned residentially (R]). As per Appendix A, Schedule of Uses, of the Carmell Clay Zoning Ordinance (see attached), an automobile repair service is not a permitted use in this zoning district. This department performed an initial site inspection of the subject property; however there was no documented evidence of an automobile repair service, thus no formal violation notice will be issued. However, this letter shall serve as informational notification of the regulations pertaining to the permitted types of uses for a residentially zoned property. Should a violation be documented in the future, further enforcement action will be taken to include court appearances and fines. During the inspection it was noted that Junk Vehicles were being stored on your property 6-106 (b) A Junk Car shall mean any motor vehicle which does not bear a currently valid license plate, and is not kept in a garage or building. You have ten (10) days from the date of this letter to removelremedy all junk vehicles, or all such vehicles will be tagged and removed from the property.
