Hollibaugh, Director SUE FINKAM, MAYOR L E T T E R of G R A N T May 28, 2025 Patrick Rector 11120 Echo Crest Drive West Carmel, IN 46280 Re: BZA Docket No. PZ-2025-00085 V: Rector Accessory Building Variance Dear Mr. Rector: At the meeting held on Tuesday, May 27th, 2025, the Carmel Board of Zoning Appeals Hearing Officer took the following action regarding the Development Standards Variance (V) request filed by you for the property located at 11120 Echo Crest Drive West: APPROVED: • PZ-2025-00085 V: The combined square footage of the ground floor area of garages and/or accessory buildings shall not exceed 75% of the ground floor area of the principal building, 87% granted. Please be advised that per Article 9.15 of the Unified Development Ordinance, the aforementioned Development Standards Variance approval is valid for three (3) years. By that time, either continuous construction of the improvements must be underway, or a written request for a one-time, six-month extension of approval must have been received and approval granted by this Department. The expiration date of approval is May 27, 2028. Please include a copy of this letter with any permit application.
